DIY Doll Repair Guide: Common Issues & Fixes

1. Minor Surface Scratches

For shallow scratches on silicone dolls, use specialized silicone repair paste. Clean the surface, apply a small amount evenly, and let cure for 24 hours.

2. Staining Issues

Staining from dark clothing is the most common TPE doll problem. Apply specialized stain removal cream to the affected area, wrap with plastic film for 24 hours, then clean. Severe stains may need 2-3 repetitions.

3. Loose Joints

Metal skeleton joint looseness can usually be fixed by adjusting screws. Most dolls have adjustment screws at the joints — use the provided tools for fine-tuning. Consult brand support if unsure of locations.

4. Makeup Fading

Facial makeup fading is best handled by professional restorers. However, for minor touch-ups, you can use specialized doll cosmetics for DIY repair.
